What is CBT?

Defining CBT

CBT is an acronym for cock and ball torture. This is the sexual practice of intentionally inflicting physical discomfort or the threat of inflicting physical discomfort to the male genitals. Cock and ball torture, a common component of BDSM, can range from mildly uncomfortable to extremely painful. Torture is a very strong word and perhaps not the most appropriate word to describe the type of CBT the Mistresses of Extreme Cock Control condone. Torment is a better description.

Many men derive a great deal of sexual pleasure from the discomfort brought about by cock and ball torment, including more intense orgasms. However, even more men derive sexual pleasure from the mere threat of having their cock and ball torture inflicted upon them.

Either way, the most important thing to remember is that it is very easy to unintentionally cause serious or permanent damage to the penis and testicles. A Femdom Mistress must take care to ensure their safety.

CBT: An Anatomy Lesson

Before beginning any type of CBT, it is important to understand the anatomy of the male genitalia.

The Shaft

The penis is covered with spongy tissue that, when flaccid, is loose and easy to stretch or pull. When hard it is stretched tighter. It still remains loose enough to slide up and down the shaft during stroking and intercourse. The shaft of the penis extends from the body to the tip and is usually less sensitive than the head or glans.

The flaccid shaft of the penis can tolerate more slapping, squeezing, and pinching than an erect penis shaft. The same level of stimulation that is “just right” when applied to the flaccid shaft may become unbearable when performed on the erect shaft.

Another way to taunt the shaft is through a ruined orgasm. Bringing the man to a climax and then removing all stimulation as he orgasms. While it creates a great deal of distress in the owner of the cock, his Mistress probably finds it amusing.

The Glans and Frenulum

At the tip of the glans is the urethra, the opening from which both urine and semen are expelled. The glans contains hundreds of nerve endings and is typically highly sensitive to stimulation. The glans may or may not be covered with foreskin, depending on whether he is circumcised. When the foreskin is intact, it covers the glans when the penis is flaccid and retracts to just below the head when the penis is erect.

The indentation on the underside of the penis where the glans meets the shaft is known as the frenulum. It’s not unusual for a man to not know this spot has a name, asking, “What is a frenulum?” They just know it’s very sensitive. Because the frenulum is so highly sensitive, it’s ideal for focused cock torture and torment.  Some men can be brought to orgasm with little more than steady tapping of the frenulum once the penis becomes hard.

The hypersensitivity of the glans means that it takes very little stimulation to produce intense sensations.

The Scrotum and Testicles

The scrotum, often referred to as the sac. This is a loose pouch of skin containing the testicles, often referred to as balls. The scrotum protects the testicles, which provide two main functions: the production of semen and testosterone.

In order to function properly, the testicles must remain at a steady temperature, which is another function of the scrotum. When cold, the scrotum will thicken and pull testicles upward toward to body to garner more heat. When hot, the scrotum will thin and drop, hanging lower and further away from the body. Because the sac is made to protect the testicles, it can withstand quite a bit more than the testicles can.

When doing CBT, it is common practice to tie or bind the testicles and it can be done safely by ensuring the binding is tight enough to be uncomfortable but loose enough to allow circulation. If bound too tightly or for too long, circulation will be impaired and permanent damage can occur.

Emotional Aspects of CBT

Communication is critical before, during, and after CBT sessions. It is probably the most important rule in administering CBT safely. Everybody expects CBT to be, at the very least, physically uncomfortable, but few are aware of the intense range of emotions that accompany CBT. It is common for CBT to trigger suppressed feelings from past physical or emotional trauma, sometimes causing severe emotional distress. Both parties being aware of triggers, limits, and other pertinent information prior to the session will help ensure the intensity (either physical or emotional) does not become unbearable and unenjoyable.

Because CBT is considered an aspect of BDSM, the term Safe, Sane, and Consensual comes into play.

When in doubt, stop the CBT session.
